Fresh Christmas Wreaths
Holiday traditions are extremely important in my family. No time is this more evident than at Christmas. Each year on, or around, December 1st, our family goes shopping for a fresh Christmas wreath for our front door. There is something special about picking out the perfect wreath, specially since it is the first thing that other people notice when they approach our house. Our goal is to pick something that reflects our personality and presents the visitor with a warm welcome.
In today’s economic environment, there are literally thousands upon thousands of choices you could make. From plastic Christmas wreaths that are covered with sparkling lights, to wreaths made of brilliantly shining tinsel, to fresh cut wreaths made from other tree trimmings, you will never run out of possibilities.
We typically stick to fresh wreaths since they are so beautiful and versatile. Additionally, there is nothing as sweet smelling as a fresh Balsam Fir Wreath. Hanging white led lights, or even blue, tends to make the greens of the branches really stand out nicely. Another cool thing you can do with fresh wreaths is to sprinkle snow carefully around the branches of the wreaths after the first snowfall of the season. Usually the weather is cool enough so that the snow will last a few days really adding to the beautiful of you holiday decorations.
An outdoor christmas wreath symbolizes eternal joy and, as such, you should take special care when selecting your holiday wreath. Although there are numerous choices available a fresh cut wreath will always be my personal favorite.
